Steve Lybrand

Executive Director

As founding board member and Executive Director of Rosemont Elder Law, Steve Lybrand leads the organization’s vision, strategy, and operations, helping families access Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Medicaid Planning. He also owns an insurance agency focusing on Medicaid Planning for seniors.

Steve holds a Masters in Religion (Lutheran Seminary), a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management (Eastern University), and a Paralegal Certificate from Villanova University, where he received the Distinguished Student Award. He actively pursues continuing legal and financial education in Medicaid and estate planning.

His community service has included roles as Ordained Anglican Priest, Coordinator and Chaplain at Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia Delaware County Clinic and working with the Recovery Community. Steve is a former Infantry Officer in the PA Army National Guard. He is committed to ensuring security and dignity for all, especially older adults.

Outside work, Steve enjoys time in nature, church, and with his wife.

Joel Shade is a seasoned business entrepreneur who has founded and operated multiple successful startups since 2012. With over 26 years of management experience
including serving as the East Coast Director of Sales for a leading technology firm—he brings deep operational expertise to every venture. Following the recent sale of his businesses, he now focuses on projects in the non-profit sector, aiming to create positive, lasting impact in his community.

Elizabeth Herman

Executive Board Member

With over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, Liz is a passionate and dedicated leader in personal finance and wealth management. Through her decades of experience, Liz has gained a comprehensive understanding of the challenges individuals face when it comes to accumulating, growing, and maintaining wealth. Liz is licensed for Life, Accident and Health Insurance and has earned her FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 Registrations. She has also earned the Accredited Behavioral Finance ™ and Registered Social Security Analyst ® designations. In addition to providing wealth planning and management services, she provides educational programs to individuals and groups on topics such as personal finance and wealth accumulation tips and strategies.

Mark Davis

Lead Attorney

Mark Davis is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania Courts and has close to thirty years’ experience in the field of aging and disability services as a legal and public policy advocate. He concentrates his practice in elder law which is comprised of Medicaid Planning, estate planning for individuals and families, estate administration and guardianship. Mark earned his J.D. degree from the James E. Beasley Law School at Temple University in 2000. He also holds both Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in History

Mark is recognized for his compassionate approach and commitment to advocating for the rights and well-being of seniors and individuals with disabilities. He regularly presents at professional conferences and community workshops, sharing his expertise to educate others about elder law and estate planning. Mark has established himself as a prominent legal and public policy advocate. Mark and his family live in Jenkintown.

Marie Feindt

Attorney

Marie has over 20 years of estate law and elder law experience. She brings a wide breadth of experience from providing counsel for large family trusts and wealth management companies, to helping our clients navigate the intricacies of today’s long-term healthcare system.

Marie holds a JD from Widener University School of Law, a bachelor’s from Penn State University, and is currently pursuing advanced tax studies at Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law. She teaches estate law as an adjunct faculty member at Villanova University.

Marie has a passion for giving back as demonstrated by her years of Delaware County guardianship representation, Medicaid planning and Pro Bono work for various local organizations, and volunteering monthly with the Christian Legal Clinic of Philadelphia. She’s also served on the Women’s Commission of Delaware County and the board of the Delaware County Literacy Council.

Outside of work, you’ll find Marie on a bike, taking a walk with her husband, or catching up with her three children—usually with a good book nearby.
